Brand Identity and Development
Django is a brunch city eatery of North-American cuisine. They approached us to help them to create new distinguished brand identity on the local restaurant scenery. The challenge was to create a brand identity in alliance with the client request to refer to the legacy of jazz musician Django Reinhardt.
Based on client’s request, we did research about 1930s-40s artworks when Django Reinghardt music had been on the peak of its popularity. As a result, an artistic font type was chosen to convey the musical flare of eatery name. Burgundy color on a round background has a reference to theatretical curtains during musical performance. After finishing brand image, NOVA crafted other marketing materials such as business card, interior posters, menu and signages.
