Brand Identity and Development
Lucky Department Store is a retail-shopping destination to house fashion and beauty brands from around the world. They were rebranding as LHT and needed a new branding identity. NOVA required creating a brand identity that takes into account the Chinese heritage of owners as well as ideology of the company.
Our solution was to take the idea of Goldenfish, which is a symbol of wealth and properity, and merge this with the coin, which also symbolises the flow of money and good luck. We created a brand identity that is modern but still represents classic Chinese heritage and style. Later this brand identity was adopted to statioinery items like letterhead, business cards and envelopes.
